The event supports community organizations providing services to those with mental illness. With nearly 350 registered participants in 2009, B4B continues to grow, attracting increased participation, partnerships, and volunteer involvement. Come join us for the fun!
Highlights of this year's event include:
" An up/down auction fundraising activity to be held at the beginning of the ride.
" Other activities include "Get a clue about mental illness" where participants collect "clues" at learning stops along the bike route.
" The regular cycling courses of 10, 25, 50, and 64 miles at 8:00 a.m.
" For non-riders, there will be a non-competitive and untimed 5K fun run/walk named "Run 4 Recovery." at 8:00 a.m.
" For those participants arriving later, we have included a one-mile walk which will start at 10:00 A.M.
" The annual B4B Tricycle Challenge, which is always a hit, starts at 10:30 A.M. Adults who donate $100 will pit their child-size tricycle racing skills against one another for a great laugh. Children can race the course at 11:00 A.M.!
